Plot
In 1912, Rose, a young upper-class woman engaged to a wealthy man, meets Jack, a poor artist who won his ticket at cards, on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. They fall in love, but the ship hits an iceberg, and they must try to survive. James Cameron's 1997 epic, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, won eleven Academy Awards and became the highest-grossing film of its time.
Sinekatalog’s take
Cameron's romance and disaster epic has a doomed love story set against the sinking. Spectacular effects, a gripping second half and a huge popular success, though the dialogue is sometimes corny.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
