Plot

A director of a film searches for a lost father.

Sinekatalog’s take

Theo Angelopoulos's slow film follows a director whose film is interrupted by the arrival of his long-lost father. Haunting, political and visually grand, it is a heavy, rewarding meditation on exile and memory.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
