Plot

A crippled magician takes revenge on a man who wronged him in Africa.

Sinekatalog’s take

Tod Browning's silent melodrama has Lon Chaney as a crippled magician plotting a cruel revenge in Africa. Lurid and macabre, with Chaney's twisted performance, it is a dark, sleazy early horror-drama that still disturbs.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
