Sinekatalog’s take
Semih Kaplanoğlu's quiet drama follows a poet returning to his hometown for his mother's funeral. Slow, spare and beautifully photographed, with Nejat İşler, it begins his Yusuf trilogy with a meditative sense of memory and loss.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
