Born in Belgrade in 1983, Maja Miloš is a Serbian director and screenwriter, whose first feature Clip (2012) is a frank and provocative portrait of a teenage girl in Belgrade, who films her own life with a mobile phone: her drinking, partying and sexual encounters, and her tense relationship with her sick father. It was widely shown at festivals and caused controversy for its explicitness. Her work is part of a new generation of Serbian film-making after the wars.
