Born in Montreal in 1989, Xavier Dolan was a child actor and made his debut, I Killed My Mother, at nineteen, writing, directing and starring in it. He followed with Heartbeats (2010), Laurence Anyways (2012), Tom at the Farm (2013) and Mommy (2014), which shared the Jury Prize at Cannes. It's Only the End of the World (2016) won the Cannes Grand Prix and the César for best director. He has also directed music videos for Adele.
