Plot
Diane, a widowed single mother, takes back her teenage son Steve, who has ADHD and a violent temper, after he is expelled from a care centre. With the help of a shy neighbour, Kyla, they build a fragile peace. Xavier Dolan's 2014 film, shot in an unusual square format, in which the frame opens at moments of joy, shared the Jury Prize at Cannes.
