Sinekatalog’s take

Michael Radford's faithful Orwell adaptation is bleak, grey and chilling. John Hurt is perfect as Winston Smith, and Richard Burton's last role gives O'Brien a calm menace.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
