Plot

A German journalist travelling in America ends up taking a young girl to find her grandmother in Germany.

Sinekatalog’s take

Wim Wenders's road movie pairs a drifting journalist with a lost girl across America and Germany. Quiet, black-and-white and deeply humane, it is a gentle, melancholy gem of New German Cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
