Sinekatalog’s take
Kon Ichikawa's stylised drama has a kabuki female-role actor plotting revenge for his parents' ruin. Kazuo Hasegawa plays dual roles in a theatrical, colourful and gloriously artificial widescreen showpiece.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
