Sinekatalog’s take
Aki Kaurismäki's deadpan crime comedy follows a jobless miner who heads to Helsinki and ends up in trouble. Dry, melancholic and tender, with Turo Pajala sympathetic, it is a classic of Finnish minimalism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
