Sinekatalog’s take
Wong Kar-wai's debut is a neon-lit Hong Kong gangster romance with Andy Lau and Maggie Cheung. Stylish and somewhat conventional, it hints at the visual language and mood he would soon perfect.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
