Sinekatalog’s take
Tsai Ming-liang's debut follows aimless Taipei youths drifting through petty crime, arcades and rain. Quiet, alienated and visually precise, it introduces the director's themes of urban loneliness and Lee Kang-sheng.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
