Sinekatalog’s take

Edward Yang's quiet drama watches a couple drifting apart in the changing Taipei of the 1980s. Cool, melancholy and architectural, with Hou Hsiao-hsien himself starring, it captures modernity's alienation precisely.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
