Sinekatalog’s take

Edward Yang's debut feature follows two women, once friends, whose lives drift apart across decades in Taiwan's changing society. Sylvia Chang is superb in a complex, structurally daring and quietly landmark New Taiwan Cinema work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
