Sinekatalog’s take
Hou Hsiao-hsien's tribute to Ozu follows a young Japanese-Taiwanese woman in Tokyo with her parents, a friend and the trains. Quiet and gently moving, with no big events, it is a graceful meditation on family and distance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
