Plot

Travis Henderson, a man who has been missing for four years, wanders out of the Texas desert, silent and disoriented. His brother takes him to Los Angeles, where he is reunited with his young son, Hunter, and slowly begins to recover. He then sets out with the boy to find his wife, Jane. Wim Wenders's 1984 film, with a script by Sam Shepard and Ry Cooder's guitar score, won the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
