Sinekatalog’s take

Elia Kazan's adaptation of Steinbeck features James Dean's troubled Cal seeking his father's love. Dean's raw, mumbled performance and CinemaScope colour define this restless, emotional drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
