Sinekatalog’s take

John Ford adapts Steinbeck's Dust Bowl novel with Henry Fonda as Tom Joad. Gregg Toland's stark photography and the film's moral anger give it great weight, even if it softens the book's ending.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
