Sinekatalog’s take

King Vidor's drama follows an idealistic young doctor in a Welsh mining town who is tempted by wealth and society medicine. Robert Donat is excellent in a sincere, well-made adaptation of A.J. Cronin's novel.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
