Plot
A wealthy Texas oil family is torn by love, jealousy and addiction.
Sinekatalog’s take
Douglas Sirk's lurid Texas oil-family melodrama is flamboyant and tragic. Dorothy Malone won an Oscar, and the film's saturated colour and heated emotions make it a high-water mark of Technicolor melodrama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
