Sinekatalog’s take
Nicholas Ray's domestic drama has James Mason turning tyrannical on cortisone. A savage, Cinemascope critique of 1950s family life and medicine, it is a bold, bitter and increasingly acclaimed masterpiece.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
