Plot
During a stargazing convention in a desert town in 1955, an alien visit brings the participants into quarantine. A play within a film.
Sinekatalog’s take
Wes Anderson's play-within-a-film sets a desert stargazing convention against grief and existential quiet. It is precisely composed and dryly funny, though its coldness and layers keep emotion at a distance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
