Takashi Miike's 1999 horror film, which starts as a gentle drama and turns to nightmare, helped bring him international fame.
Sinekatalog’s take
Takashi Miike's slow-burn horror starts as a quiet romance and ends in sheer nightmare. It is patient and unsettling, and its final act is infamous for a reason; not for the squeamish.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
