Sinekatalog’s take

Mani Ratnam's drama of a Hindu-Muslim couple amid the 1993 riots is powerful and humane. A.R. Rahman's songs and the film's riot sequences are striking, though the film was controversial on release.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
