Sinekatalog’s take

Jane Campion's gothic romance gives a mute woman a voice through her piano. Holly Hunter is extraordinary, and the film's New Zealand mud, music and passion are gorgeous, strange and fierce.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
