Plot

Holly Golightly, a charming and slightly lost young woman in New York, spends her nights at parties and her mornings looking in the windows of Tiffany's. Paul Varjak, a struggling writer who moves into her building, falls for her, and slowly sees the frightened girl behind the glamorous act. Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard star, from Truman Capote's novella.

Sinekatalog’s take

A stylish romantic comedy built around Hepburn's iconic black dress and Henry Mancini's 'Moon River'. It is gentler and sweeter than Capote's story, and Mickey Rooney's caricature of a Japanese neighbour is a regrettable blot.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
