Plot

Cléo, a young singer in Paris, waits for the result of a medical test that may reveal she has cancer. Over ninety minutes of real time she walks through the city, visits a fortune teller, shops, sings with her musicians and talks to a soldier on leave in a park. Agnès Varda's 1962 film, a New Wave landmark, becomes a gentle meditation on mortality and on seeing and being seen.
