Sinekatalog’s take

Sam Peckinpah's war film shows the Eastern Front from the German side with gritty, nihilistic realism. James Coburn is excellent, and the bloody, slow-motion battles are classic Peckinpah.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
