Sinekatalog’s take

Jiří Menzel's gentle comedy follows a small-town brewery in the 1920s, its manager's lively wife and her wily brother-in-law. Warm, witty and nostalgic, it is a charming, leisurely portrait of country life.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
