Sinekatalog’s take
Jiří Menzel's gentle comedy follows three middle-aged friends whose quiet river summer is stirred by a travelling magician and his assistant. Rudolf Hrušínský leads a warm, nostalgic and wryly erotic Czech charmer.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
