Sinekatalog’s take
Mati Diop's documentary follows 26 royal treasures returning from France to Benin in 2021, with one statue given a voice. Poetic and probing, it is a short, thoughtful essay on colonial loss and the work of return.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
