Plot
A short film on African art, co-directed with Alain Resnais.
Sinekatalog’s take
Chris Marker and Alain Resnais's short essay asks why African art loses meaning once it enters Western museums. Poetic, angry and sharp, it was banned in France for years and stands as a landmark of anti-colonial documentary.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
