Plot

A film essay on a trip to Siberia.

Sinekatalog’s take

Chris Marker's film essay plays with images of Siberia, mixing travel, history and ironic commentary, including a famous repeated sequence with changing narration. Witty and inventive, it is a landmark of the essay film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
