Plot

William Blake, an accountant from Cleveland, arrives in the frontier town of Machine to take a job, only to find that it no longer exists. After a violent encounter, he is wounded and becomes a fugitive, and travels west with a Native American man named Nobody, who believes he is the poet William Blake. Jim Jarmusch's 1995 black-and-white Western, with Johnny Depp and a score by Neil Young, is a dreamlike, elegiac film.

Sinekatalog’s take

Jim Jarmusch's black-and-white acid western is a hypnotic, poetic road trip toward death. Johnny Depp and Gary Farmer are superb, and Neil Young's guitar score fits the film's dreamy menace.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
