A documentary on the dhrupad tradition of Indian classical music.
Sinekatalog’s take
Mani Kaul's documentary portrays the dhrupad tradition of Indian classical music, with the Dagar brothers performing. Meditative and sensuous, it avoids explanation and lets the sound and images create a deep, hypnotic experience.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
