Plot
A fugitive woman takes refuge in a small town, staged on a bare set, and the residents' kindness turns into exploitation.
Sinekatalog’s take
Lars von Trier stages a grim fable on a bare soundstage with chalk-marked buildings. Nicole Kidman's refugee tests a small town's decency, and the cynical, stagey result is long, provocative and hard to shake.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
