Sinekatalog’s take

Yasujiro Ozu's drama follows a Tokyo salaryman whose affair strains his marriage. Subtle, melancholic and observant of office life, it is a quiet, mature study of boredom and infidelity in postwar Japan.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
