Plot

Boorman tells the Arthurian legend from the sword in the stone to the Holy Grail: Uther Pendragon's lust for Igraine, the birth of Arthur, the building of Camelot, the betrayal by Lancelot and Guinevere, and the quest for the Grail, with the wizard Merlin presiding over everything. Nigel Terry, Nicol Williamson and Helen Mirren star.

Sinekatalog’s take

A mythic, overripe and gorgeous fantasy of armour, mist and Wagner, with Orff's 'O Fortuna' ringing out. It is violent, a little silly and unlike anything else in the genre.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
