A sick Japanese soldier wanders the Philippines in the last days of the war.
Sinekatalog’s take
Kon Ichikawa's anti-war masterpiece follows a sick Japanese soldier stumbling through the Philippines in 1945. Harrowing and stark, with horrors near cannibalism, it is a devastating, unforgettable portrait of war's inhumanity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
