A documentary on the countries of the former Eastern bloc.
Sinekatalog’s take
Chantal Akerman's documentary travels through the countries of the former Eastern bloc after communism's fall, in long tracking shots of faces, queues and streets. Hypnotic and wordless, it is a haunting portrait of waiting and change.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
