Richard Attenborough's 1982 epic, with Ben Kingsley in the title role, was a labour of love for the director and won eight Academy Awards.
Sinekatalog’s take
Richard Attenborough's sweeping biopic follows Gandhi's path from South Africa to Indian independence. Ben Kingsley is remarkable, and the funeral scene is one of the largest crowds ever filmed.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
