Sinekatalog’s take
Wim Wenders's noir imagines writer Dashiell Hammett caught up in a mystery in 1928 San Francisco. Stylised, studio-bound and troubled by reshoots, it has lovely design but a fragile story, an interesting if uneven homage.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
