Sinekatalog’s take
Raoul Walsh's gangster drama gave Humphrey Bogart his breakout lead as a doomed bank robber. Ida Lupino is excellent, and the mountain chase finale and tragic tone make it a gripping, melancholy noir.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
