Sinekatalog’s take
John Ford recalls a Welsh mining family through a boy's memory. Sentimental and nostalgic, it beat Citizen Kane for Best Picture and is valued today for its warmth and craft.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
