Sinekatalog’s take

Miyazaki's loose adaptation of Diana Wynne Jones's novel blends romance, magic and anti-war themes. The plot is sprawling and not always clear, but the imagery and sweet-natured characters carry it.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
