Sinekatalog’s take
Isao Takahata's hand-drawn adaptation of a Japanese folktale looks like a moving ink painting. Delicate, sad and beautiful, with sketchy lines that capture emotion directly.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
