Sinekatalog’s take

Jacques Rivette's two-part retelling of Joan of Arc, with Sandrine Bonnaire, follows her visions, battles and trial in a spare, intense, grounded style. Austere and moving, it is a rigorous, humane work that trusts its performances.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
