Plot
A 2021 feature directed by Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, whose title can be translated as "Kerr". It won him the Golden Orange for best director at the Antalya festival. Pirselimoğlu is known for austere, atmospheric dramas about outsiders, and the film continues his interest in loneliness and moral ambiguity.
Sinekatalog’s take
Tayfun Pirselimoğlu's austere drama, winner of the Golden Orange for best director, lingers on outsiders in a bleak, atmospheric world. Slow and elliptical, with his usual mystery, it will reward patient viewers but may alienate others.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
