Plot
Weinraub and Ruso, two Israeli soldiers, are called up for service at the start of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. They join a helicopter rescue unit and spend the war trying to evacuate the wounded from the front, in a chaotic and frightening experience. Amos Gitai's 2000 film, drawn from his own experience as a helicopter rescue soldier, was in competition at Cannes.
